Join us as we run across the country. Apply for the core team, cross a state or run one of thirteen 4-day challenge events. If you are not a runner, you can sponsor, donate or volunteer! Sandy Van Soye – Race Director  LinkedInLogo

Sandy Van SoyeA half-marathoner and marathoner, Sandy Van Soye practically grew up on a track. Her father was the cross-country coach at UCLA and, later, the Commissioner of the CIF Los Angeles City Section. But instead of going into education like both of her parents, she looked forward to the challenge of the business world.

Sandy is a 25-year Corporate IT veteran with significant experience in producing business cases, financial models and strategic recommendations for C-Level Executives. She has managed global projects and service management groups with international business experience on four continents and with direct reports in the US, UK and India. Today, she serves on the board for Run-Walk Events, a non-profit corporation for the public benefit which seeks to raise awareness about the “inactivity” epidemic in young people.

Sandy has been a race director for several ultramarathons in the Southern California area. She earned her BA in Social Science and her MBA from University of California, Irvine, and has traveled to over 70 countries on all six populated continents.
